Our last meeting

At our last meeting, I asked everyone to bring a list of disagreements they have with Dennis. We had a good list and some lively discussion. Among them were:

- the death penalty
- seat belt laws
- legalization
- tattoos
- senators vs governors/mayors for president
- women vs men's happiness in career

If you disagree with any of these, or have your own disagreements, then add a comment to this post tell us.

I'm curious what kinds of things people had to say about those topics at the meeting?

I think the most lively debate was the death penalty. Laura disagreed with Dennis, and everyone else there on the basis that it is not a deterrent. However, she was honest enough to admit that if she was convinced that it was a deterrent that she could then be convinced (or at least rethink her opinion).

Roz, I wish you were there.

We all agreed tattoos were fine but not to extreme, and the women present all agreed that their family life was by far the superior desire in their lives over their careers. There was not a lot of debate on these topics; more of a general discussion.

Is this typically the format of the Prager groups when they meet? I.E. finding disagreements with Dennis? I guess it would spark interesting discussion.

We have only had two meetings. One was in introduction meeting. This was the second. We are open to discuss anything.
